We have known this store for a long time. Not being able to get back to Decatur, I sent my mother in-law into shop for a sofa. The experience was great for her and our family. They special ordered her a Flexsteel sofa with the fabric she wanted and had special leg height ordered as well. We LOVE this place.
Well, ordered 2 oversized chairs here. Was told at the time I ordered that it would take about 4 weeks before we could get them from the manufacturer. It's going on 7 weeks now and still no furniture. No one there seems to know anything except the salesperson that helped me. They will not answer my questions only to tell me they are sorry and the best they could do was take off $50.00 off our total. What good is that going to be when we have been sitting on the floor for almost 2 months?? This is ridiculous and Goods doesn't want to take the blame for it. They say its out of their hands? Really? Order furniture and keep it in stock so you don't have this problem. It should not take this long to make a stupid oversized chair!!
Randy, who sold us our new mattress, went above and beyond ensuring we received exactly what we needed! When the first box spring wouldn't fit up our stairs, he called me within one hour and told me that a split box spring had already been ordered. When the split box spring was too tall for our bed, he placed a special order for a low profile split box spring, which came within a few days. He never even asked me to pay for the first box spring. I will definitely be returning to Goods for the furniture and the unusually good customer service.
We ordered a custom cloth chair and a leather couch and chair set. They came from two different places and both shipments came in on or before we were told. I looked all over for a quality leather couch, including on-line and the best deal I found was at Goods. They are great to work with and will give you the truth about pricing, quality and delivery.
